Abstract: A photographic optical system and a viewfinder are disposed above a recorder casing for recording a signal obtained by photography. The photographic optical system and the viewfinder are disposed so as not to overlap each other in a direction parallel to an optical axis of the photographic optical system and so that an optical path of the photographic optical system and an optical path of the viewfinder overlap each other as viewed on an extended line of the optical axis of the photographic optical system. In addition, the photographic optical system is disposed above the recorder casing, and the recorder casing is arranged to eject downward a recording medium for recording of a signal obtained by photography. A grip is disposed on one side of the aforesaid recorder casing, and an operating part for driving a mechanism for varying the magnification of the photographic optical system is provided at the rear of the photographic optical system.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily confirm a film counter of a camera in case of rewinding, by providing a shielding plate for switching the display at the time of winding and rewinding. CONSTITUTION:At the time of winding, driving force is transferred to gears 13, 14 and 17, a sprocket 5 is rotated counterclockwise, and a V-groove wheel 3a drives a counter 2 by 1 graduation each. In this case, in a counter window 8, a shielding plate 9b of the rewinding operation part shields a pattern 1b, a numeral is displayed, and the number of photographing frames is known. At the time of rewinding, when a lever 9 is operated in the direction as indicated with an arrow (b), an inclined plane 9a pushes a pin 12, depresses the gear 14 and it is engaged with a gear 18. In this way, a rewinding mode is set, and in this case, the shielding plate 9b shields the numeral, and the pattern 1b is displayed. When the pattern is varied, completion of rewinding is known easily.
