Abstract: The fluid-jet recording head such as, for example, an ink-jet recording head, has fluid channels with fluid outlets, through which a recording fluid is released in the form of a droplet jet, and electricity/heat conversion elements for generating heat, which respond to electrical input signals and thus generate energy for the release of fluid. The electricity/heat conversion element has a heat-generating resistance film which consists of an amorphous material containing halogen atoms and/or a substance controlling the electrical conductivity in a matrix of carbon atoms. A recording system having this recording head is also described.
