Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid type color image forming device which is satisfactorily constituted so that the miniaturization of a device, the increase of an accessing speed and high printing quality free from color slippage may be attained. SOLUTION: The color image forming device 20 is constituted of four developing units 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d for storing different color toner, image carrier drums 22a and 22b, an intermediate transfer belt 25 stretched to be laid between a driving roller 23 and a driven roller 24, cleaners 26a and 26b, electrostatic charging rollers 27a and 27b, laser beam exposure units 28a and 28b, a main power source 29, etc. Respective parts are constituted so that the following relations may be established; Lb=N1×π×D, Lb N2×π×R, and also, Pt=N3×π×R, provided that Lb denotes the peripheral length of the intermediate transfer belt 25, R denotes the diameter of the driving roller 23, D denotes the diameter of each image carrier drum 22a and 22b, Pt denotes a distance between two transfer parts and N1, N2 and N3 denote optional integer numbers. The image carrier drum is exposed with the laser beam 34 through an exposure through-hole of the developing unit.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device using a tandem system and having the enhanced maintainability and excellent printing accuracy, by isolating the upper part of a device main body approximately parallel to the lower part of the device main body, and moreover disposing each unit sequentially on the upper part of the device main body. SOLUTION: A plurality of image forming units are disposed to the upper part 32 of the device main body. The upper part 32 is opened upwards by releasing the locking and using a right and left link mechanics. At this time, the link mechanics use a F arm 67 (67a, 67b), R arm (68a, 68b) and link frame 66 (66a, 66b), FR frame 65 (65a, 65b) or the like, and open the upper part 32 by energizing force of a spring. In the state opened completely, the upper part 32 holds a fixed interval to the lower part 33 of the device main body, and is opened almost horizontally.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain efficient assembling by providing a read unit, a print head unit and an ink tape winding unit onto a common chassis and assembling them as one block into the device main body. Since the read unit 54, the print head unit 30 and the ink tape winding unit 39 are assembled into the device main body altogether, the assembling is efficiently applied in comparison with a conventional small sized copying machine where each component is individually subject to position adjustment and assembled in the device main body, thereby improving the mass-productivity.
