Abstract:
A color table stores a plurality of discriminating information so as to discriminate a predetermined data of a document data and a color information corresponding to each discriminating information. An area information indicative of a position on the document which is additionally outputted is stored. When the document is printed, a predetermined data of the document data is discriminated, and the color information corresponding to the discriminated predetermined data is retrieved from the color table. An image generated by an identified color according to the retrieved color information is drawn on the document at a predetermined position indicated by the area information. Accordingly, by an image color which is additionally outputted at the predetermined position, a user can simply identify a type of the document and an inherent information of the document by its appearance at a glance.
Abstract:
A display device includes an EL element for signal light which is based on the segment matrix drive scheme and causes a plurality of areas to emit signal light containing light in a wavelength range other than the visible range, a photoconductive layer which generates carriers upon incidence of signal light, and an EL element for display light which is adjacent to the photoconductive layer. Signal light is irradiated onto desired areas of the photoconductive layer. Carriers are injected from the irradiated areas into the EL layer to emit display light containing visible light.
Abstract:
Defining information (7) for defining the condition for adding background colors is previously stored in a condition storage area (10), and a spreadsheet form is registered in a form storage area (11). Alphanumeric character data to be written in a cell of a spreadsheet are stored in a record storage area. When a CPU (1) is instructed to start printing, the CPU (1) outputs the alphanumeric character data as output data (8) to a data value decision section. The data value decision section (9) read the output data (8) and decide a background color in accordance with the read output data to prepare a print record to which color information is added. A printer control section prepares print data (14) to which the background color is added in accordance with the color information (14a) for the print record (14) and the spreadsheet form registered in the form storage area (11).
Abstract:
A service information receiver (1) which receives chargeable service information and date data transmitted from an FM broadcasting station in a state where the information and data are multiplexed with an FM broadcasting radio wave. The receiver permits the display of the chargeable service information until the date data received by the receiver (1) do not agree with the valid date data stored in an information storing medium (2) detachably attached to the receiver (1) by comparing both data. After both data agree with each other, the receiver (1) inhibits the display of the service information.
Abstract:
A digital still camera combines a display pattern received from a printing apparatus and a photographed image with each other, and displays the resultant image on a viewfinder. A user adjusts the balance between the display pattern and the image of the object both being displayed on the viewfinder, and depresses a shutter release button. The digital still camera fetches the photographed image. The digital still camera sends to the printing apparatus the fetched image and a pattern name specifying the display pattern used at the time of photographing. The printing apparatus combines the decoration pattern specified by the pattern name and the image received from the digital still camera into composite image data. The printing apparatus prints the composite image data.
Abstract:
Pattern data-like illustrations is stored in a ROM (24) in a printer (200). This pattern data is sent via a communication cable (30) to a digital camera (100) from the printer (200). In the digital camera (300), image data representing a still picture stored in a compressed form in an image memory (9) and pattern data sent from the printer (200) are both expanded by a compressing/expanding section (8) after which they are synthesized with each other, and an image corresponding to the synthesized data is displayed on a color LCD (19). This synthesized data is compressed by the compressing/expanding section (8), and is then sent to the printer (200) from the digital camera (100) via the communication cable (30). The printer (200) expands the compressed synthesized data and then activates a color printer section (26) to print an image corresponding to the expanded synthesized data on a recording sheet.
Abstract:
A data storage device comprises a controller and a semiconductor chip which includes a nonvolatile semiconductor memory having plural storage areas into each of which data is stored, a store instruction signal input terminal to which a store instruction signal is inputted, a storage controller for storing data into the semiconductor memory when receiving a store instruction signal through the store instruction signal input terminal, a read instruction signal input terminal to which a read instruction signal is inputted, and a read controller for sequentially specifying one of the storage areas in the semiconductor memory each time it receives a read instruction signal through the read instruction signal input terminal and then reading the data stored in the specified storage area. The controller includes a specifying data storage for storing specifying data that specifies one of the storage areas, a store instruction signal output circuit for outputting a store instruction signal to the store instruction signal input terminal of the semiconductor chip, and a read instruction signal output circuit for outputting a read instruction signal corresponding to the specifying data stored in the specifying data storage to the read instruction signal input terminal of the semiconductor chip.
Abstract:
An FM broadcasting station (5) broadcasts paging ID by multiplexing it on FM broadcasting radio waves in a subframe period assigned in advance to an FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) to be paged, and broadcasts, as program data, message data directed to the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) to be paged. The FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) repeatedly and intermittently receives the paging ID broadcasted from the FM broadcasting station (5), in the subframe period assigned to itself in advance. When the received paging ID is its paging ID, the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) generates an alarm. Thereafter, a user selects a program on which the message data directed to the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d) to be paged is broadcasted, and views the message data which is the program data displayed, thereby obtaining the message data directed to the FM radio receiver 1b (to 1d).
Abstract:
A communication terminal device carries out data processing based on key or touch panel operations and provides a telephone conversation function. When a key is actuated, a key input confirmation sound is generated. When data input is performed on the touch panel with a pen, a pen impact sound caused by striking the touch panel with the pen and a pen frictional sound caused by rubbing the touch panel with the pen are generated. In the telephone conversation mode, the key input confirmation sound, the pen impact sound, and the pen frictional sound are picked up as noises by the microphone. Upon detecting such noises, the communication terminal device generates noise and cancelling signals corresponding to the respective noises and cancels each noise from a voice signal input form the microphone. Thus, a voice signal free from noises is transmitted.
Abstract:
In an image processing system utilized with a car navigation system, an image photographed by a digital camera and a map image in relation to this photographed image can readily confirm a driver where this photographed image has been acquired with respect to the map. The image processing system is constituted by: an image storage unit for storing photographed image data and positional information data acquired in correspondence with the photographed image data; a map image storage unit for storing map image data; a retrieval unit for retrieving a position with respect to the map image data stored in the map image storage unit based upon the positional information data stored in the image storage unit; and an image output unit for outputting a map image of the map image data about the position retrieved by the retrieval unit, and a photographed image of the photographed image data in correspondence with the map image data.
