Abstract: A split bearing is mounted on the journal of a crankshaft by pin means which permit the bearing to move radially, but prevents it from rotating relative to the journal. Lubrication means is provided for communicating lubricating oil between the journal and bearing and also between the bearing and a supporting journal box.
