Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for making ultrasonic inspections of high surface temperature objects by using as a couplant a polymeric material of polysulfone or polyester resin having specifically defined thermal characteristics. Surface temperatures of the object at the point of inspection may be 300* - 1,100* F. or higher.
