Abstract: Organoborane imidazole compounds having activity as agricultural fungicides are represented by the general formula: wherein R is an aliphatic group and R , R , R , R , X and Y are selected from hydrogen and various aliphatic and aromatic substituents. For example, R can be an alkyl or alkenyl group, R can be an alkyl group and R , R , R , X and Y can be hydrogen. Intermediates from which the compounds of formula I may be prepared are also disclosed.
