Abstract: Title compds. (I; Z1 = II; R1 and R2 are C1-4 alkyl; X = -0-, -NH-; Y = O, S, C1-4 alkyl, benzyl; n = 0-1; A = -CH2- CH2-; Z2 and Z3 are same or not, -NR3R4, -OR5, -SR6, R3 and R4 are same or not, H, lower alkyl, benzyl; R5 = lower alkyl residue; R6 = C1-8 alkyl residue) were prepd. by the reaction of cyanurine halide and IV. Thus, 28.2 g 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidin-4-ol and 4.2 g natrium were stirred for 18 hr in xylene, followed by addn. of 10.1 g cyanurine chloride, and refluxed 1 hr to give 23.7 g cyanurine chloride, and refluxed 1 hr to give 23.7 g 2,4,6-tris[2',2',6',6'-tetramethylpiperidinyl-4'-oxy -1,3,5-triazine.
