Abstract:
Substituted azabicycloalkanes of the formula I
wherein R represents an alkyl radical which contains 2 or 3 carbon atoms and is substituted by chlorine or a straight-chain or branched alkenyl radical containing 3 or 4 carbon atoms, R1 and R2 represent hydrogen or the one represents methyl and the other represents hydrogen, and n is the number 1 or 2, may be used for influencing the growth of plants, preferably for combating weeds in rice-cultures.
Abstract:
N-(Alkoxy-phosphinyloxy)- and N-(alkoxy-phosphinothioyloxy)-Nalkyl-N''-substituted ureas of the formula
In this formula: R1 represents methyl or ethyl, R2 and R3 each independently represent a lower alkoxy or dialkylamino radical, X represents a lower alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or halogenoalkyl radical, halogen or the cyano group, Y represents oxygen or sulfur, and N REPRESENTS A NUMBER FROM 0 TO 3, WHICH ARE USEFUL AS HERBICIDES IN A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WEEDS AND WILD GRASSES ARE DESCRIBED. Compositions containing such compounds are also described.
Abstract:
New 1,3,4-thiadiazolyl-(2)-ureas are disclosed as herbicidally active compounds of enhanced toxicity to undesirable plant growth and improved selectivity. A method of controlling undesirable plant growth with the aid of such compounds and compositions containing them is also described.
WHEREIN R REPRESENTS LOWER ALKYL, LOWER HALOGENALKYL, LOWER ALKENYL OR LOWER HALOGENALKENYL, N REPRESENTS THE INTEGER 0 TO 1 AND OF THE SYMBOLS X AND Y, ONE REPRESENTS SULPHUR AND THE OTHER REPRESENTS OXYGEN OR SULPHUR ARE DISCLOSED AS HERBICIDALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES. COMPOSITIONS AS WELL AS A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WEEDS AND WILD GRASSES WITH THE AID OF SUCH COMPOUNDS ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
Abstract:
wherein R1 represents a lower Alpha -halogen alkyl radical R2 and R3 each independently represent hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical R4 represents a lower alkyl radical that is unsubstituted or substituted by cyano or alkoxy, a cycloalkyl radical or alkinyl radical X represents oxygen or sulphur AND PROCESSES FOR THEIR PREPARATION ARE GIVEN. These ureas have herbicidal activity and compositions containing them can be used for the control of gramineous and dicotyledonous weeds. New ureas of the Formula
Abstract:
WHEREIN R1 and R2 independently represent alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkoxyalkoxy, alkylthio or both together with the phosphorus atom from a five- or six-membered ring containing at least one other hetero atom, R3 is alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkoxyalkoxy, alkylthio or dialkylamino, R4 and R5 are hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, alkoxy or halogenalkyl, X being chlorine or bromine. Preferably the three radicals R1, R2, R3 are identical and represent lower alkoxy and R4 and R5 are hydrogen. There is also provided an agent for the control of weeds comprising the said pyridazone derivatives as active component. The new compounds are especially useful as selective herbicides in cultivated crops. The invention is concerned with new pyridazone derivatives of formula
Abstract:
1-(1'',2'',4''-thiadiazol-5''-yl)-2,5-dioxo-imidazolidines and 1(1'',3'',4''-thiadiazol-5''-yl)-2,5-dioxo-imidazolidines are effective weed killers in crop cultures such as wheat, cotton, soya bean, maize. They are suitable as pre-emergence and postemergence herbicide.

Abstract:
Agent for the regulation of plant growth, which agent contains as active substance at least one acylamine of the formula
WHEREIN R1 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, R2 represents hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, isopropyl, methoxyethyl, allyloxymethyl or lower alkyloxymethyl, and n denotes the number 3 or 4.
Abstract:
Bis-(substituted alkylamino)-s-triazines in which one alkyl moiety is substituted by cyano and is interrupted by oxygen or sulphur are preferred weed-killers in crops of cultivated plants such as cotton, maize, sorghum or soya.
