Title compds. I (R1 = C1-4 alkyl, alkoxy, halo; R2 = H, C1-3 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, halo; R3 = H, C1-3 alkyl, halo; R4 = H, Me; the sum of C atoms in R1-R4
Abstract:
Beta -Chlorallylthioureas as well as their derivatives obtained by adding Cl2 or Br2 at the chlorallyl group are effective microbicides. They may be used as active agents in detergents or for the purpose of imparting to fibrous materials anti-microbial and anti-mycotic resistance as well as for controlling plantpathogenic bacteria and fungi.
Abstract:
New oxime ethers and pesticidal and herbicidal preparations containing them are disclosed. The oxime ethers correspond to the formula
wherein R.sub.1, is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl radical; R.sub.2 is an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic radical; or wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 form part of a saturated or unsaturated carbocycle of a 5-, 6- or 7-membered heterocycle; R.sub.3 is a nitro, trifluoromethyl, formyl, lower carbalkoxy, sulfamyl or mono- or di-lower alkyl sulfamyl radical; R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each is a hydrogen or halogen atom, an amino, mono- or di-lower alkyl amino, lower alkoxy, cycloalkoxy, lower alkylthio, nitro, lower carbalkoxy, arylthio, lower aralkylthio or lower alkyl group, or 5-, 6- or 7-membered heterocycle.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to 8-oxyquinolines of the formula
WHEREIN A. X represents hydrogen or halogen and R1 represents hydrogen or methyl, and the substituents R2 and R3 represent hydrogen or halogen, or wherein B. X represents methyl, R1 represents hydrogen and one of the two substituents R2 and R3 denotes halogen and the other hydrogen, or both substituents R2 and R3 denote halogen, and in the case of (b) R1, R2 and R3 represent substituents that differ from one another if R2 represents chlorine or bromine, or WHEREIN C. X represents methyl and R1 represents methyl and R2 and R3 represent hydrogen or halogen, and their use as active ingredient in bactericidal and fungicidal preparations.
Abstract:
In the method of protecting cultivated plants from the harmful effects of agrochemicals, quinoline derivatives of the formula in which R1, R2 and R3 independently of one another are hydrogen, halogen, nitro, cyano, alkyl or alkoxy, R4, R5 and R6 independently of one another are hydrogen, halogen or alkyl, X is an aliphatic, acyclic, saturated hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and Y is a carboxyl group, or a salt thereof, a mercaptocarbonyl group or a salt thereof, a carboxylic acid ester group, a carboxylic acid thiolester group, an unsubstituted or substituted carboxylic acid amide group, a cyclised, unsubstituted or substituted derivative of a carboxylic acid amide group or a carboxylic acid hydrazide group, or X and Y together are an unsubstituted or substituted tetrahydrufuran-2-one ring, including acid addition salts and metal complexes thereof, a compositions containing such derivatives, are used. Novel quinoline derivatives and their preparation are also described.
