Abstract: An end bracket comprising a base 40, possessing two primary wings 42 and 43 parallely located and vertically arising from the base whose inner surfaces are angled outwards at the same end of the base so as to define an expanding slot 41. The wings may be joined to define a tube. A secondary wing 44 is mounted offset from the centre of the base between the primary wings so as to divide the expanded portion of the slot 41 into two diverging slots 41A and 41B on either side of it. The direction of force exerted by the bracket on the wire connecting the braces fixed to the teeth may be altered by moving the wire between the divergent slots.
