Abstract: A cooking fuel device (110) includes a fuel container (112) and a cover (118) attached to the top of the container. The cover includes a central toroidal shaped aperture (48') positioned over the top of the container to define a toroidal burn area for a fuel in the container. An optional wick (116) positioned below the cover is formed from a piled fabric includes a burn portion and a fuel feed portion extending to the fuel in the container.
