Abstract: The rear casing (44) of a computer monitor (40) is supplied with connector holes (46,48) for hanging a speaker (50) on. The speaker has lugs (54) to match the connector holes in the monitor. A lug on the speaker locks through a connector hole (46,48) on the monitor. As soon as the speaker is removed, the deep, connector hole on the rear casing of the monitor stays behind and is concealed.

Abstract: A method for externally hanging speakers 50 on computer monitor 40 and an arrangement thereof, in which the computer monitor comprises front and rear casings 42 and 44 respectively, mated with each other by screws. A hidden insertion hole 52 is formed in each original passage 46, 48 of the rear casing for hooking hanging hooks 54 of the speakers. After the speaker is removed, no difference to the original appearance of the computer monitor can be seen. The speakers can be hung on the computer monitor without spoiling the appearance of the computer monitor.
