Abstract: An electrical system includes an enclosure having at least one enclosure wall forming a cavity that is environmentally sealed. The electrical system can also include a capacitor bank having at least one capacitor and at least one fuse positioned within the cavity of the enclosure. The electrical system can further include an insulating medium disposed within the cavity and in contact with at least a portion of the capacitor bank.
