PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product, wherein releasable materials (physiologically active components, wetting and drying substance, and perfume component) are included in a water-insoluble polymer and the releasable materials are released from the water-insoluble polymer, and releasing materials are held on a hydrophilic material (a channeling agent) configuring a releasing channel; and to provide a composition used for producing the product.SOLUTION: The product comprises: a water-insoluble polymer; interconnecting channels (45) formed in the hydrophilic materials formed in the inside of the water-insoluble polymer; and the releasable material that is absorbed and held in the channels. The interconnecting channels act as controlled transmission passages through the polymer. The solidified product may be used to form a desired shaped article such as plug type inserts (55) and liners (70) for closed containers, or it may be formed into a film, sheet (75), bead, or pellet.

SOLUTION: The container 1 having a desiccant ability includes a container body 12 at least creating a partial enclosure as creating an internal space 201 and an external space 202 to the container body 12, a cap 14 capable of being placed on the container body to close the container body and an insert made of thermoplastic containing a desiccant which is fixed to the container body, wherein at least one part of the insert is exposed to the internal space of the container body to absorb a moisture content in the internal space of the container body. SOLUTION: The present invention includes processes and resulting structures for producing a modified polymer having interconnecting channels. The interconnecting channels act as controlled transmission passages through the polymer. A hydrophilic agent is blended into the polymer so that it is distributed within the polymer. In one embodiment, an absorbing and releasing material is blended into the polymer so that the absorbing and releasing material is distributed within the product. The product is solidified so that the hydrophilic agent forms passages in the product through which a desired composition is communicable to the absorbing and releasing material that is entrained within the product. The solidified product may be used to form a desired shaped article such as plug type inserts and liners for closed containers, or it may be formed into a film, sheet, bead or pellet. Un proceso para producir un polímero con aditivo de absorción retenido, el proceso que comprende: (a) mezclar un polímero funcional y un agente acanalador en donde el agente acanalador es un material hidrófilo y es un poliglicol; (b) reaccionar el polímero y el agente acanalador; y (c) solidificar el producto de la reacción polímero-agente acanalador para formar un polímero con aditivo de absorción retenido, en el cual el agente acanalador forma pasajes para la comunicación con el aditivo de absorción, en donde un aditivo de absorción se mezcla con el agente acanalador y el polímero funcional en (a) o está mezclado en el producto de la reacción del polímero-agente acanalador de (b).
