    Abstract: PURPOSE:To arbitrarily select the DTMF signal sending mode or the additional information message sending mode of a numeric key signal by inverting the sending mode of the numerical key signal by a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:A PB flag indicating that the numeric key signal should be sent to an information channel as the DTMF signal is set to '0', and the numeric key signal is put in a 'keyboard facility' information element, and the mode is set where the numeric key signal is sent as an 'additional information' message. Since the numerical key signal is not sent as the DTMF signal at present, display contents on a display device 8 are erased and the busy state is set. If a PB button 7 is depressed, the PB flag 9 is inverted to '1', and the first state is stored there. Contents on the display device 8 are inverted, that is, information indicating that the mode is in the first state is displayed on the display device 8, and the busy state is set. When a numeric key 6 is inputted, it is checked whether the PB flag 9 is '0' or not. If it is not '0', the numerical key signal is sent as the DTMF signal and the busy state is set; but otherwise, the signal is put in the 'keyboard facility' information element and is sent as the 'additional information' message, and the busy state is set.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To inform the name of an international communication enterprise of a line in use to a caller in voice prior to communication by sending information identifying a communication line selected by a communication line automatic selection means in a voice message so as to use a communication line with the cheapest communication cost among plural communication lines. CONSTITUTION:A dial sequence to command automatic selection of an international communication enterprise is stored in a dial sequence memory 7 and a communication charge list per standard time of each international communication enterprise to be selected is stored in a communication charge table memory 8. When a CPU 6 detects dial '1', a route offering the cheapest cost is selected by comparing the data in the communication charge table memory 8 and the route is acquired and connected by a time division multiplex exchange switch 3. A voice storage/generating means 9 stores the name of the international communication enterprise as a voice data by the method of PCM recording and sends the voice to a telephone line via a time division multiplex exchange switch 3 and a terminal interface 2 by a command of the CPU 6. Thus, the name of the selected communication line is informed to the terminal equipment as a voice message.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the response of a terminal equipment with respect to an incoming request from an external line or an extension by ringing an extension not in the operating state in an extension group corresponding to an incoming request alternatively and eliminating its ring terminal equipment from the extension group if no reply is given within a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:In the arrival of an incoming call to a trunk line or an extension, when the automatic distributed (ACD) incoming designation is set, a ring terminal equipment is selected so as to make a terminal call unit of the designated terminal equipment group uniform. A caller terminal equipment and a call tone (RBT) 37 are connected and a timer 40 counting a reply time of the ring terminal equipment is started. If no reply comes from the ring terminal equipment within a prescribed time, the connection between the ring terminal equipment and a call signal (RGT) 38 is released by a switch circuit network 35. Then the deletion of the ring terminal equipment from the extension group is processed to restore the processing into the initial state.
