Abstract: PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to enable a user to check the position and the remaining amount of food inside the refrigerator through a display part without opening a door by using a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a receiving space, a shelf, a door, a sensor(310), an input control part(320), and a display part(330). The receiving space is composed of a cold room and a freezer. The shelf is installed in the cold room and the freezer. The door opens and closes the entrance of the receiving space. The sensor is installed with the shelf. The sensor comprises either two or more weight sensors or two or more position sensors. Either the weight sensors or the position sensors are installed vertically or horizontally to the shelf at constant intervals. The input control part processes information sensed by the sensor. The display part is installed on the outside of the door.

Abstract: A device for preventing lowering of a door of a refrigerator is provided to locate a supporting bar mounted to a door of the refrigerator to a receiving groove mounted to a main body of the refrigerator for supporting a downward load of the door, thereby preventing the door from lowering. A device for preventing lowering of a door of a refrigerator includes a receiving part(250) and a supporting part(350). The receiving part has a plate-shaped coupling plate(251) mounted to a bottom surface of a main body of the refrigerator, and a receiving plate(252) extended downward from the coupling plate and folded in parallel with the coupling plate. The supporting part has a coupling plate(351) mounted to a bottom surface of a door, and a supporting bar(352) extended downward from the coupling plate and folded in parallel with the coupling plate to be secured to the receiving plate of the receiving part when the door of the refrigerator is closed. The receiving plate is formed with a hemispherical receiving groove(253) in the center, to which the supporting bar is secured for supporting a lowering load of the door. The supporting part has a slant surface(353) at an end of the supporting bar for easy sliding.
