Abstract: A plug and socket type connector for connecting two electrical leads has a flat-pin plug part (2) of a first standard size and joined thereto in one piece a socket part (1) of a second standard size. It therefore allows a plug and socket type connection between a conventional socket of a first standard size which is joined to a first lead and a flat-pin plug of a second standard size which is joined to a second lead.
