Abstract:
A control apparatus for a hydrostatic auxiliary power steering arrangement, in particular for vehicles, has a metering motor (10) and two coaxial rotary slide valves (16, 17) forming between them a directional valve (14). The directional valve (14) is opened by rotating the inner rotary slide valve (17) by means of a steering element (57), so that fluid under pressure is allowed to pass through the metering motor (10) to a steering motor (8) and the metering motor (10) adjusts the outer rotary slide valve (16) in dependence on the amount of fluid flowing through the inner rotary slide valve (17). To avoid abrupt changes in the rotational speed of the inner rotary slide valve, and therefore to prevent acceleration forces that are too high being exerted on the steered item and possibly on the person controlling the steering, the inner rotary slide valve (17) is connected to a damping arrangement (70) counteracting its rotational movement.
Abstract:
In a device for controlling the pressure to be supplied to a hydrostatic steering unit (1) by means of a control signal (s), thereis a rotary slide valve arrangement, one slide valve element of which is rotatable by means of a steering means (5) and the other slide valve element of which is corrected by means of a measuring motor (16). Together with a series throttle (AV), a control throttle (AS) forms a series circuit independent of the intake path of the steering motor (4), which circuit is connected between a pressure source (CF) and the tank (6). The control throttle (AS) has a closing characteristic that extends substantially across the entire working range of the angle of rotation of the slide valve elements. The control signal (s) is tapped between the series throttle (AV) and the control throttle (AS). This provides a pressure control that is independent of load.
Abstract:
A hydraulic steering device (1), in particular for vehicles, is disclosed, having a housing in which two sliders are arranged to move relative to one another and together form at least one adjustable throttle (A1-A6, Ad), a restoring device for restoring the two sliders to their neutral position being provided, one of the two sliders being driveable and the other of the two sliders being in operative connection with a measuring device (7). In such a steering device it is desirable to improve the correlation between steering torque and flow amplification; in particular it is desirable to linearize the relationship better. For that purpose the measuring device (7) is arranged in a flow path (8) closed in itself, and operates as a pump, whilst an open flow path (9) runs past the closed flow path (8) from an inlet connection arrangement (P, T) to an outlet connection arrangement (A, B).
Abstract:
A hydraulic control valve for controlling flow between a pump, a hydraulic device, and a vessel containing hydraulic fluid. The control valve has an elongated valve slide which is slidably mounted in an elongated valve housing. The valve has three positions, a central neutral position, a float position axially offset in one direction from the neutral position and a constant pressure position axially offset in the opposite direction from the neutral position. In the neutral position, flow of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic device is inhibited. In the float position, connection is such that a raised device, such as a hydraulically operated bucket, is lowered slowly by gravity until it rests on the ground or another object. In the constant pressure position, the valve connects pump pressure to the load sensing circuit to facilitate, for example, shaking of a bucket of a piece of earth moving equipment.

In order, in a simple and reliable manner, to effect a seal in the region of the lead feedthroughs in a housing for an electrical device, in particular a measuring transducer, through the wall (2) of which housing at least one electrical lead (3) is introduced into the housing (1) and is sealed against the wall (2) by a sealant, tar (6) is used as the sealant.
Abstract:
A micromixer (5) is disclosed having a mixing chamber that is connected to a first inlet channel arrangement, into the wall (6) of which mixing chamber there opens a second inlet channel arrangement by way of at least one opening (10). Such a micromixer is intended to render possible rapid and predeterminable mixing of fluids. For that purpose, there is arranged on the wall (6) adjacent to the opening (10) at least one projection (7) that extends transversely to the direction of flow, the extent of which is greater than the extent of the opening transverse to the direction of flow.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a corrosion proof pump or motor with an inner, outside toothed tooth wheel rotating around a first centre, whereby the inner tooth wheel engages an outer, inside toothed tooth wheel rotating around a second centre which is displaced in relation to the first centre, whereby both the inner and the outer tooth wheels rotate between side plates, and the outer tooth wheel rotates in an outer bearing which is at the same time a distance piece between the side plates. The pump or motor is especially suited for media with a low viscosity, in that the side plates and/or the outer bearing and/or at least one of the tooth wheels consist of a binding material containing reinforcement and/or wear resistance improving and/or friction reducing materials.
Abstract:
A method for transporting a fluid through a channel which is defined by circumferential walls is disclosed. Here, it is desirable to avoid contact between the circumferential walls of the channel and the fluid. To avoid this contact, an auxiliary fluid is arranged between the fluid and the circumferential walls.
Abstract:
A micro-mixer (8) is disclosed having at least one mixing point (9, 10) which is connected to an inlet channel arrangement having at least two inlet channels (3, 4) and to an outlet channel arrangement, and a mixing method is disclosed for at least two fluids which are supplied from different directions. With this mixer and method it is intended to achieve a rapid and predeterminable mixing of the fluids. For that purpose, a separating element (5) which extends into a region of the mixing point in which the inlet channels run parallel to one another is provided. By this means the fluids can be kept separate from one another until their flow speeds virtually coincide in respect of value and direction. Only then are they brought into contact with one another.
Abstract:
An operating device (1) of a remote adjustment device for a heating installation is disclosed, having a housing (2) which has a mounting surface (3), and a temperature sensor element (6) arranged in the housing (2). In an operating device of that kind it is desirable to reduce the influence of the wall temperature. For that purpose, between the mounting surface (3) and the temperature sensor element (6) there is arranged a flow channel (19) which has an opening (20, 21) to the outside at each end.
