Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zahnrad- oder Getriebepumpe (10) mit wählbarer Fördermenge für Hydraulikfluid. Hierfür sind zwei pumpende Getriebesätze (14, 16) mit unterschiedlicher Fördermenge in einer integralen Einheit (12) zusammengefasst. Über Magnetsteuerventile (34) sind die Fördermengen der Getriebesätze (14, 16) in wählbarer Kombination einem Auslass (40) oder einem Einlass (30) zuführbar. Hierdurch ist die am Auslass (40) bereitgestellte Fördermenge der Zahnrad- oder Getriebepumpe (10) in Stufen vorgebbar.

Abstract: A hydraulic gear pump 10 comprising an integral unit 12 having a first gear set associated with a bearing plate housing, a second gear set associated with a cover housing, an inlet 30 common to both housings, check valves 32 and solenoid operated control valves 34 in each housing associated with a first conduit 36, and a second conduit (38, figure 1) in communication with the bearing plate housing and an outlet 40 in the cover housing. The second conduit may be external to the gear sets. Preferably, when the control valve in the bearing plate housing is opened flow from the first gear set is routed to the inlet and when the control valve in the cover housing is opened flow from the second gear set is routed to the inlet. The pump provides up to four different flow rates so as to provide the appropriate output during all phases of an associated machine.
