PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of using homogeneously as far as possible, particularly variably as far as possible with regard to a solid content, and using a corresponding coating preparation for production of scratch-resistant and/or abrasion-resistant coatings. SOLUTION: A highly filled, pasty, composition containing silico-organic nanohybrid and/or microhybrid capsules for scratch-resistant and/or abrasion-resistant coatings can be obtained by compounding at least one silico-organic compound and a microscale corundum and/or a nanoscale oxide with a synthetic resin or a synthetic resin precursor. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silane and/or siloxane-bearing composition that has improved adhesion and crosslinking to the surface of a polar carrier and shows good coating properties by admixing a fluoro-organic functional silane, siloxane, mineral acid, metal salt of aluminum or the like to the composition. SOLUTION: This silane and/or siloxane composition comprises (A) 0.01-10% (by mass) a fluoro-organic functional silane and/or siloxane, preferably a silane of the formula: F3C(CF2)m(CH2)nSiR1yX(3-y) [X is Cl or the like; R1 is a 1-8C alkyl; y is 0-2; m is 0-18; n is 0 or 2], typically 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluoro- octylmethoxy-silane, (B) 0.001-50% by mass of a mineral acid, for example, hydrogen chloride, nitric acid, phosphoric acid or the like; (C) 0.01-10% by mass of at least one of metal salt from (i) aluminum (III), (ii) tin (II), (iii) tin (IV), (iv) iron (III), and (v) titanium (III) (for example, aluminum (III) chloride or the like).

SOLUTION: A mixture of one or more substances can be used in lieu of functional organylorganyloxysilane. In addition, a (copoly)condensation product of the functional organylorganyloxysilane having a weight average molecular weight up to about 10,000 can be used to obtain similar result. It is a condensation product (or oligomer) of the functional organylorganyloxysilane, or a copoly condensation product of nonfunctional organylorganyloxysilane or organylorganyloxysilane.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition which is of low viscosity, lucent in general, stable in storage widely and for a long term and useful as a water- soluble fixer or the like by including water and a mixture of specific amino- functional silicon compounds which are soluble in water and substantially contain no alkoxy group, etc. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including a mixture of amino- functional silicon compounds which are soluble in water and substantially contain no alkoxy group, water and a little (preferably less than 5 mass %) alcohol if necessary and a little acid if necessary. The silicon compounds are of (A) the formula: NH2[(CH2)2NH]x(CH2)3SiO1.5 and (B) the formula (SiO1.5)(CH2)3[NH (CH2)2]yNH[(CH2)2NH]z(CH2)3SiO1.5 (x to z are each 0-2), respectively. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mixture excellent in chemical multifunctionality, etc., useful as an adhesive agent in self-adhesive agents or sealants, as a binder in dyes or coating materials, for modifying or crosslinking organic resins by making the mixture include a specific chain siloxane oligomer and a cyclic siloxane oligomer. SOLUTION: This mixture includes a chain siloxane oligomer and a cyclic siloxane oligomer shown by formula I and formula II [R is an aminopropyl functional group of the formula (CH2)3-NH2 or the like, methoxy, or the like, wherein =0.5], respectively; wherein the alkoxy group accounts for pref. 0.1-50 wt.% of the whole mixture. This mixture is obtained, for example, by hydrolytic condensation between 3- aminopropyltrimethoxysilane and n-propyltrimethoxysilane in the presence of water and methanol.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable water-soluble organosiloxane composition used for coating materials, lacquers, adhesives, etc. SOLUTION: There is provided a stable water-soluble organosiloxane composition obtained by the steps of: (a) reacting a water-soluble amino-functional alkoxysilane with at least one water-insoluble alkenyl-functional alkoxysilane by the addition of water, and (b) removing the alcohol formed during step (a) from the mixture, wherein the amino-functional alkoxysilane and the water are used in amounts at minimum to permit the reaction of all of the alkoxyl groups of the water-insoluble silane. This composition can be advantageously used to silanize a filler or a pigment in order to lower the viscosity of a filler- or pigment-containing formulation and in order to improve its ability to be suspended in a solvent.

SOLUTION: The composition comprises a silicon compound containing (i) at least one alkyltrialkoxysilane, (ii) at least one alkoxysiloxane and/or at least one tetraalkoxysilane, (iii) at least one hydrous silica sol, (iv) at least one acid and (v) at least one alcohol or at least one glycol or a mixture thereof.
