    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the bonding of material for the production of three-dimensional objects by selective heating via a laser of wavelength from 100 to 3000 nm. The beam spot may be a focused or unfocused beam spot, or may indeed be spread, as is the case with the diode laser, where the bars may have a stacked arrangement. The selectivity of the melting process is achieved via the application of an absorber to certain subregions of a layer composed of a pulverulent substrate, and then heating of the absorber by laser radiation of wavelength from 100 to 3000 nm. The heated absorber transfers the energy present therein to its surrounding pulverulent substrate, which is melted thereby and, after cooling, has firm cohesive bonding.

    Abstract: A process for producing a thermoplastic composite pipe comprises the following steps: a) providing a tubular liner having a wall comprising a thermoplastic polymer A in the region of the outer surface; b) providing a tape comprising reinforcing fibres in a matrix comprising a thermoplastic polymer B, where polymer A and polymer B are different; c) applying a film or a composite which is produced in step d) and is composed of a film and a tape provided in step b) to the tubular liner, with melting of the outer surface of the liner and of the contact surface of the film either beforehand, simultaneously or thereafter, d) applying the tape provided in step b) to the outer surface of the film, with melting of the outer surface of the film applied and of the contact surface of the tape either beforehand, simultaneously or thereafter, wherein the surface of the film which is brought into contact with the liner consists of a moulding compound comprising polymer A to an extent of at least 30% by weight, and in that the opposite surface of the film consists of a moulding compound comprising polymer B to an extent of at least 30% by weight. Composite formation between identical polymers in the critical process step achieves better quality of adhesion. The pipe thus produced is especially suitable for offshore applications in oil or gas production.

    Abstract: A process for producing a thermoplastic composite pipe comprises the following steps: a) providing a tubular liner having a wall comprising a thermoplastic polymer A in the region of the outer surface; b) providing a tape comprising reinforcing fibres in a matrix comprising a thermoplastic polymer B; c) providing a tape comprising reinforcing fibres in a matrix comprising a thermoplastic polymer C; where polymer A and polymer B are the same or different and polymer B and polymer C are different, d) applying a tape provided in step b) to the tubular liner by means of welding, e) optionally cohesively bonding further tape laminas of the same kind to the tape lamina applied in step d), f) applying a first film or a composite which is produced in step g) and is composed of a first film and a tape provided in step c) to the first composite layer thus formed, with melting of the outer surface of the first composite layer and of the contact surface of the first film either beforehand, simultaneously or thereafter, g) applying the tape provided in step c) to the outer surface of the first film, with melting of the outer surface of the first film applied and of the contact surface of the tape either beforehand, simultaneously or thereafter; h) optionally cohesively bonding further tape laminas of the same kind to the tape lamina applied in step g), where the second composite layer is produced in steps g) and optionally h), i) optionally finally applying an outer cover lamina composed of a polymeric material, wherein the surface of the first film which is brought into contact with the first composite layer consists of a moulding compound comprising polymer B to an extent of at least 30% by weight, and the opposite surface of the first film consists of a moulding compound comprising polymer C to an extent of at least 30% by weight. Composite formation between identical polymers in the critical process step achieves better quality of adhesion. The pipe thus produced is especially suitable for offshore applications in oil or gas production.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a downhole heat exchanger for extracting geothermal energy from a borehole, wherein the inner surface of the exchanger tube comprises the following roughness values: a) an arithmetic mean roughness Ra according to DIN EN ISO 4287 in the range of 1 to 15 μm, b) an averaged roughness Rz according to DIN EN ISO 4287 in the range of 8 to 80 μm, and c) a maximum roughness depth Rz1 max according to DIN EN ISO 4287 in the range of 10 to 500 μm, comprising an improved precipitation film during operation, such that the entire surface of the exchanger tube is uniformly wetted.
