    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial tooth completed after a conical cap is buried into the base of the artificial tooth through one outpatient treatment. SOLUTION: The implant-supported artificial tooth 10 has a plurality of basal notches 13 in its base 12 and one conical cap is buried into self-hardening plastics in each basal notch 13. Each conical cap 7 is placed on the conical pin 6 of a support structure post 2 inserted into a conical hole in an enossal implant. To fabricate the artificial tooth, only prefabricated portions are used. Burying the conical cap 7 into the base 12 of the artificial tooth 10 is effected through only one outpatient dental treatment, after which an already completed artificial tooth is obtained.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle an implant easily and reliably in a sterile condition by structuring by fixing an adapter by a lock screw and a central screw in an implant and fitting into a ratchet inserter where a screwdriver fitting into an entraining element and engaging with the central screw is arranged. SOLUTION: A central hole is provided in an adapter 6 screwed into an implant 1, and a central screw 8 is arranged, and the central screw 8 is inserted into the threaded hole 5 of a lock screw 4. A strip provided projectingly at the end face of the adapter 6 is engaged with an entraining groove of the implant 1 for nonrotatable fitting and connection. A sterile implant 1 before embedded, is grasped by a ratchet insert 23 and an internal pipe 16 is pulled out. The ratchet insert 23 having a contour 24 engaging with a ratchet key is connected to the adapter 6 in a fashion of fitting and interlocking. Thus the dental implant can be handled sterilely easily and reliably.

The implant connected to the adapter is held by a two-part holding hub in a receptacle. The implant is handled by means of the ratchet insert and is screwed into the prepared bore in the jaw.
