PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of prussic acid by which the reaction is carried out substantially at a low temp. and is started without a catalyst and which is suitable for the production of a small amt. of prussic acid. SOLUTION: When prussic acid is produced by the gas phase reaction of methane and ammonia at a elevated temp. in >1 ratio of ammonia/methane, the reaction gas mixture is heated to 500 to 1000 deg.C and subjected to corona discharge. The space velocity and the discharge current are preferably controlled in such a manner that charges of 0.02 to 100 coulomb per 1 mol of methane are passed through the reaction gas mixture. By stopping the corona discharge, preparation of prussic acid can be instantly terminated. Also, just after the electric discharge is turned on, the preparation of prussic acid starts at once.

SOLUTION: The filling pipe piece is composed so that the solid bodies can be filled under pressure and the container is surrounded with a cage 3 composed of two or more of parts. The tamped bulk density (to DIN EN ISO 787-11) of the silicon dioxide compacted to give crusts is from 185 to 700 g/1. It can be used as filler in rubber mixtures.
