Abstract: Liquid detergent and cleaning agent composition comprises a liquid medium with a water (= 15 wt.%), and particulate coated bleaching agent(s). The bleaching agent(s) is suspended in the liquid medium from the series containing inorganic and organic peroxy compounds, The bleaching agent has a coating of at least two layers, preferably innermost layer (2-20 wt.%) and outer layer (0.2-5 wt.%). Liquid detergent and cleaning agent composition comprises a liquid medium with a water (=15 wt.%), and particulate coated bleaching agent(s). The bleaching agent(s) is suspended in the liquid medium from the series containing inorganic and organic peroxy compounds, The bleaching agent has a coating of at least two layers, preferably innermost layer (2-20 wt.%) and outer layer (0.2-5 wt.%). The innermost layer comprises hydrate-forming inorganic salt(s) as the main component(s). The outer layer comprises alkali metal silicate(s) with a modulus of silicon dioxide to alkali metal oxide of greater than 2.5 as the main component(s). The coated bleaching agent has a dissolving time of >= 5 minutes as measured for 95% dissolution in water at 15[deg]C and 2g/L.

Preferred compositions comprise sodium percarbonate with an innermost layer of substantially sodium sulfate and an outermost layer of substantially 0.5 to 1.5 wt.% sodium silicate (modulus 3.2 to 4.2) as the bleaching agent.
