Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for directly producing a low dust silane-modified oxidic or siliceous filler, which can be used in a rubber mixture, from a low dust microbeads-like or microgranular oxidic or siliceous filler. SOLUTION: The silane-modified oxidic or siliceous filler, which has a less than 75 μm beads fraction of under 15 mass% and a median value of particle size distribution of 150-500 μm, is obtained by reacting at least one of microbeads-like or microgranular oxidic or siliceous filler with at least one of silanes in a compressed gas. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process and a device for the extraction of substances from silane-modified fillers. SOLUTION: At least one gas compressed by means of pressure and/or temperature is employed as an extraction agent and the compressed gas is led in the radial direction through the filler in the pressure container and/or the substances extracted from the silane-modified filler are removed from the compressed gas with a suitable sorbent. By this invention, substances can be effectively extracted from silane-modified fillers, and at the same time, a high throughput of compressed gas passing through the bulk bed of filler is made possible. Method for selective separation of volatile aroma components (I) from a single-phase, (semi-)liquid starting material (A) having a fat and/or oil content not over 20wt.% by using a condensed 2-4C hydrocarbon (II).
Abstract:
Silane-modified oxide or silicate fillers have: (1) a fraction of pearls below 75 microns of below 15 wt.% as determined by sieve analysis; and (2) a median particle size of 130-500 microns, determined by laser diffraction without ultrasonic treatment. An Independent claim is also included for production of the silane-modified fillers by reacting the micro-pearled or microgranulated filler with a silane in a pressure- or temperature-compressed gas.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the selective isolation of valuable substances with the aid of compressed C2 to C4 hydrocarbons, such as for example ethane, propane, and/or butane, according to which a starting material is used, which contains the valuable substances in an absorbed and/or adsorbed form. Activated carbon, alumina, silicic acids, zeoliths or polysaccharides, which are charged accordingly with the valuable materials, are used as the starting materials for said method, which is carried out preferably in a continuous operation at temperatures of
