Abstract: Un sistema para el cuidado electrónico de pacientes, donde el sistema comprende: un concentrador o un cliente de monitorización configurado para monitorizar un dispositivo de cuidado de pacientes, donde el concentrador o el cliente de monitorización comprende: un componente del área de seguridad configurado para controlar el acceso a, al menos, uno de un recurso de hardware y un recurso de software; en donde el concentrador o el cliente de monitorización está configurado además para identificar el dispositivo de cuidado de pacientes y ejecutar una aplicación para monitorizar el dispositivo de cuidado de pacientes, y en donde el concentrador o el cliente de monitorización ejecuta la aplicación dentro del componente del área de seguridad, de modo que la aplicación acceda al o a los recursos de hardware y recursos de software a través del componente del área de seguridad, en donde el componente del área de seguridad está configurado para priorizar el acceso al o a los recursos de hardware y recursos de software, en donde, si múltiples aplicaciones solicitan el acceso a un dispositivo o variable de alarma que indica un estado de alarma, el componente del área de seguridad está configurado para priorizar las fuentes de las solicitudes y generar una lista de prioridad de motivos de alarma, en donde el estado de alarma se puede deshabilitar basándose en la lista de prioridad de motivos de alarma, en donde el concentrador o el cliente de monitorización está configurado para comunicarse con las historias clínicas electrónicas, en donde el concentrador o el cliente de monitorización está configurado para identificar un paciente y el dispositivo de cuidado de pacientes, y en donde el concentrador o el cliente de monitorización está configurado para descargar al menos un parámetro de tratamiento desde las historias clínicas electrónicas y programar el dispositivo de cuidado de pacientes con el o los parámetros de tratamiento.

The monitoring client (1) is configured to communicate with the plurality of databases via the monitoring server (3). Wherein the monitoring server (3) translates communication between the monitoring client (1) and the plurality of databases utilizing the middleware. The first medical pump is coupled to the monitoring client. The second medical pump is coupled to the first medical pump.
