Abstract: Glühkerze (100) mit einem Verbrennungsdrucksensor (16), mit:einem Heizbauteil (11), das angepasst ist, um in einem Ende eines Kerzenlochs (1b) zum Erhöhen einer Temperatur einer Brennkammer (2) platziert zu sein;einem zylindrischen Bauteil (14), das an einer Außenumfangswand des Heizbauteils (11) fest gesichert ist;einem Gehäuse (10), das angepasst ist, um fest an dem Kerzenloch (1b) gesichert zu sein und eine Außenumfangswand des zylindrischen Bauteils (14) hält, damit dieses zu einem axialen Versatz in der Lage ist;einer Membran (15), die durch das Gehäuse (10) und das zylindrischen Bauteil (14) fest gestützt ist;dem Verbrennungsdrucksensor (16), der an der Membran (15) montiert ist und zum Erfassen eines Verbrennungsdrucks in der Brennkammer (2) auf eine Dehnung anspricht, die in der Membran (15) aufgrund eines axialen Versatzes des zylindrischen Bauteils (14) auftritt;einer Abdeckung (19), die mit dem Gehäuse (10) verbunden ist, um einen hermetisch geschlossenen Innenraum (B) zur abgedichteten Aufnahme des Verbrennungsdrucksensors (16) festzulegen, und die eine Einbringbohrung (119) aufweist; undeinem Leitungskabel (17), das flexibel ist und mit dem Heizbauteil (11) fest verbunden ist, um dieses mit elektrischem Strom zu versorgen, wobei sich das Leitungskabel (17) durch die Einbringbohrung (119) erstreckt und mit einer Innenumfangswand der Einbringbohrung (119) hermetisch abgedichtet verbunden ist,wobeiein Zwischenraum (20) zwischen einer Außenumfangswand des Leitungskabels (17) und einer Innenumfangswand des zylindrischen Bauteils (14) vorgesehen ist,ein Antivibrationsbauteil (18) in dem Zwischenraum (20) angeordnet ist, undder Zwischenraum (20) derart vorgesehen ist, dass die Außenumfangswand des Leitungskabels (17) und die Innenumfangswand des zylindrischen Bauteils (14) nicht dazu gebracht werden, miteinander in Kontakt zu treten, wenn sich das Leitungskabel (17) durch einen von einer Schwankung des Verbrennungsdrucks verursachten axialen Versatz des Heizbauteils (11) am stärksten biegt.

Abstract: A spark plug comprises center electrode, insulator, insulator housing, and ground electrode. The ground electrode has one end portion connected to the housing and other end portion opposed to the center electrode via a discharge gap. An iridium alloy-firing tip made of a rod-like iridium alloy is connected to a portion of at least one of the center electrode and the ground electrode facing to the discharge gap. A spark plug comprises center electrode (30), insulator holding the center electrode, housing holding and fixing the insulator, and ground electrode having one end portion (31) connected to the housing and the other end portion opposed to the center electrode via a discharge gap. An iridium (Ir) alloy firing tip (50) made of a rod-like Ir alloy is connected to a portion of the center electrode and the ground electrode facing to the discharge gap. The cross-sectional area of Ir alloy firing tip taken along a plane perpendicular to an axis of the iridium alloy-firing tip has an out-of-round configuration. When the firing tip is assumed that a circumscribed circle has a largest diameter A among virtual circles each contacting the portions of a visible outline of the cross- sectional area and an inscribed circle has a largest diameter B among inscribed circles each being coaxial with the circumscribed circle, a ratio of the diameter B to the diameter A (B/A) is 0.8-1. The visible outline of the cross-sectional area is constituted by a serial joint of at least 7 straight or curved line elements, and the angle between each line element and adjacent line element is 125-235 degrees. An Independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a spark plug comprising configuring the cross-sectional area of the Ir alloy firing tip in such a manner that the visible outline is constituted by a serial joint of at least 7 straight or curved line elements and an angle between each line element and an adjacent line element is 125-235 degrees, and welding an entire circumferential surface of the Ir alloy firing tip by laser welding to the portion of the center electrode and the ground electrode facing to the discharge gap.

The two requirements for assuring the close contact capability and suppressing the plastic deformation are simultaneously satisfied by a twice or three-times bent gasket with Hv0.5 of greater than or equal to 200 and smaller than or equal to 400. particularly, the twice bent gasket of the thickness of the gasket plate itself of 0.3 mm and made of SUS 304 of Hv0.5 of 350 did hardly suffer a loss of springiness under 50 G vibration.
