Abstract: Compns. for controlling foam in an aq. system were prepd. by dispersing an amide with a chlorosilane-based reaction product in an org. liq., and homonizing for suspension. The compns. contd. 75-98 parts of org. liq., 1-15 parts of an amide which was a reaction product of a polyamine having at least one C2-C10 alkylene group and C6-C18 fatty acid, 0.1-10 parts of base, 0.1-5 parts of reactive chlorosilane monomer, 0-3 parts of org. component selected from polymer, C10-C20 fatty acid, and C10-C20glyceride.
