Abstract: The strike assembly can have a strike with a strike face, a socket in the strike face for receiving a male locking member retractably mounted to a door, the socket having a shim-receiving wall integral to and normal to the strike face, the shim-receiving wall having a receiving aperture, an insert being securely engageable into the receiving aperture along an insert engagement path, and a shim plate held firmly in the socket, against the shim-receiving wall, by the insert, when the insert is engaged into the receiving aperture.

Abstract: The electric strike can have a housing having an internal face receivable against a receiving face of a door frame, an external strike face, a socket recessed into the strike face along a socket axis normal to the receiving face of the door frame, for receiving a male locking member retractably mounted to a door, the male locking member also being moveable transversally to the socket axis, along a horizontal escape path, by opening the door, the electric strike further having a keeper pivotally mounted around a pivot axis between a closed configuration and an open configuration, the pivot axis parallel to the socket axis and offset from the escape path on a first side of the socket, inside the housing, the keeper having a gate member forming a restraining wall of the socket blocking the escape path when in the closed configuration, and a distal end.

Abstract: The electronic access control strike can have a bolt socket, a bolt path leading to bolt socket, a keeper movably mounted to a frame in a manner to be moveable into and out of interference with the bolt path, a cam member moveable for selectively blocking or unblocking the movement of the keeper, and an anti-preload member which is moveable into interference between the keeper and the cam member for preventing the keeper from conveying a preload force onto the cam member when the cam member is in the blocking position, and moveable out from interference between the keeper and the cam member when the cam member is in the unblocking position to allow the keeper to be moved out from interference with the bolt path.
