Abstract:
Two component polyurethane adhesives contain (a) at least one alkyl-substituted 4,4'-di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane wherein each cyclohexyl group is alkyl-substituted in at least one position ortho to the amino group, (b) at least one 2,4'- di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane or 2,2'-di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane, (c) a mixture of (ii) at least one alkyl-substituted 4,4'-di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane wherein each cyclohexyl group is alkyl-substituted and (ii) at least one 2,4'-di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane and/or 2,2'- di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane, or (d) a mixture of 40 to 99.9% by weight (a), (b) or (c) with 0.1 to 60% by weight of at least one unsubstituted 4,4'-di(aminocyclohexyl)alkane, The adhesives also contain one or more polyols, in which at least 50% of the hydroxyl groups are secondary hydroxyls. These adhesive provide a useful combination of long open time and excellent sag resistance.
Abstract:
A two-part polyurethane adhesive system includes a resin component A and a curative B. The resin component A includes a monomeric polyisocyanate and a prepolymer. The curative B includes a polyether polyol having a molecular weight of from 3000 to 20,000 and another polyol having 4-8 hydroxyl groups and a molecular weight of from 200 to 1000. The system includes a tin (IV) catalyst, which is contained in the resin component, and a blocked aza-type catalyst, which is contained in the curative. The system has excellent shelf stability, gives an excellent open time at ambient temperatures, and cures rapidly when heated to 65°C or higher.

sistema adesivo de poliuretano de dois componentes e processo para colar um par de substratos um sistema adesivo de poliuretano de duas partes inclui uma resina componente a e um curativo b. a resina componente a inclui um poliisocianato monomérico e um pré-polímero. o curativo b inclui um poliéter poliol tendo um peso molecular de 3000 a 20.000 e outro poliol tendo de 4 a 8 grupos hidroxila e um peso molecular de 200 a 1000. o sistema inclui um catalisador de estanho (iv), que está contido na resina componente, e um catalisador tipo aza bloqueado, que está contido no curativo. o sistema tem excelente tempo de prateleira , dá um excelente tempo de abertura em temperaturas ambientes, e cura rapidamente quando aquecido até uma temperatura maior ou igual a 65°c.
