La presente invención se refiere a composiciones poliméricas reticulables que comprenden un polímero a base de etileno, un peróxido orgánico, y un coagente de reticulación de polialilo, en las que el coagente de reticulación de polialilo y el peróxido orgánico se encuentran presentes en cantidades suficientes para proporcionar una relación molar de alilo a oxígeno activo de al menos 1.6, con base en el contenido de alilo del coagente de reticulación de polialilo y el contenido de oxígeno activo del peróxido orgánico. Tales composiciones poliméricas reticulables pueden emplearse en la formación de conductores recubiertos.

Such cross-linkable polymeric compositions can be employed in forming coated conductors.
