Abstract: Disclosed herein is a holding device for a wind shield and a microphone, the holding device having an opening for insertion and/or retraction of the microphone in the holding device; a clamping mechanism for fixating on the microphone; a supporting portion for supporting a material of the wind shield; a stopping element for arranging the microphone in a desired position in the holding device; and a boundary surface, which may be configured for acoustically amplifying a specific frequency range of a sound signal impinging on the microphone.
