Abstract: Methods and systems for hydraulic vehicle suspension are provided. A hydraulic suspension system, in one example, includes a first manifold including a piston-side interface and a rod-side interface fluidically coupled to a piston chamber and a rod chamber, respectively, for each of a first hydraulic cylinder and a second hydraulic cylinder. In the system, the first manifold includes a first electrically activated valve fluidically coupled to the piston-side interfaces, a first damping device, and a second damping device, the first electrically activated valve is configured to lock and unlock vertical motion of the first and second hydraulic cylinders and, while vertical motion of the first and second hydraulic cylinders is locked, the first electrically activated valve permits fluidic communication between the first and second hydraulic cylinders to permit free roll motion in the hydraulic suspension system.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a valve assembly, in particular for use in a tire inflation system, the valve assembly comprising: a valve body comprising a first fluid port and a second fluid port; a piston disposed at least partially within the valve body and configured to be moved relative to the valve body between an open position and a closed position, wherein when the piston is in the open position the first fluid port is fluidly connected with the second fluid port, and wherein when the piston is in the closed position the first fluid port is fluidly isolated from the second fluid port, wherein when the piston is in the open position the first fluid port and the second fluid port are fluidly connected with one another via a fluid channel extending through the piston. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of inflating a tire and a central tire inflation system. The system has the tire connected to a pressure port for applying an air pressure via a pneumatic line. An ambient air temperature and a target pressure for the tire is received and a tire inflation rate based on the ambient air temperature and the target pressure is calculated. An estimated pressure of the tire based on tire inflation rate is estimated and the tire is inflated at the calculated tire inflation rate. A pressure of the tire is measured and a correction factor based on a ratio between the measured pressure and the estimated pressure is calculated. The tire inflation rate using the correction factor is corrected and the tire is inflated at the corrected tire inflation rate until the target pressure is reached.
