Abstract: A sealing gasket (34) for use in electrical connector (20) comprises a planar base (43) and a plurality of bosses (45) extending in a direction away from the planar base (43). The plurality of bosses (45) each include a first opening portion extending from the base (43) in a direction towards an opposed end of the bosses (45), and a second opening portion extending from the opposed end of the bosses (45) in a direction towards the base. An intermediate membrane (54) is formed between the first and second opening portions (52). An electrical connector (20) is also disclosed.
