Abstract: The present invention relates to a rotary fuel pump (101). The pump (101) has a rotor (107) and at least one pumping element (115) for supplying high pressure fuel. A cam box (123) containing a cam arrangement (103) is provided for actuating the at least one pumping element (115). A speed dependent fuel pressure line (129) is provided for supplying speed dependent fuel pressure to an advance arrangement (125) for adjusting the timing of fuel delivery by the pump (101). A first vent line (131) is provided for venting air from the speed dependent fuel pressure line (129). The present invention also relates to an advance arrangement (125) for a fuel pump (101) and a rotor (107) for a fuel pump (101).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a connector assembly (102) comprising a connector unit (105) mounted in a housing (103). The connector unit (105) has a mounting portion (113), at least one electrical terminal (117) and a body portion (115) having a locking tab (121). The housing has a first longitudinal axis X 1 and the body portion has a second longitudinal axis X 2 . The first longitudinal axis X 1 and the second longitudinal axis X 2 are offset from each other to enable the tip of the locking tab (121) to be radially inset. An axial press tool (125) can be used to mount the connector unit (5) mechanically in the housing (3). The present invention also relates to a method of assembling a connector assembly (102).
