    SOLUTION: A variable displacement type compressor 10 includes a compression part C compressing the refrigerant in a sealed housing H and storing the lubricating oil in the housing H. Tetrafluoropropene or pentafluoropropene is used as the refrigerant compressed by the variable displacement type compressor 10, and polyalkyleneglycol is used as the lubricating oil. A check valve 32 disposed in the housing H is formed out of polyphenylene sulfide resin.
