Abstract:
Based on user image data read by a card reader from a user card, a banking system machine can be used to carry out a transaction. Image data read by the card reader is compared by a computer to image data stored in an authorized machine user database. The banking system machine is operative to capture images of machine users. The captured user images can be stored in correlation with user transaction data in data bearing records. The banking system machine can produce markup language documents which include the data bearing records. The markup language documents can be communicated to a remote authorized analysis terminal.
Abstract:
An exterior trim system is described. The exterior trim system comprises a pair of J-channel members for mounting to an exterior surface of a building. The exterior trim system includes a number of different corner trim pieces for securing to the J-channel members. The corner trim pieces include an outside corner trim piece, an inside corner trim piece, and a universal corner trim piece capable of being used for both outside and inside corners of a building. The corner trim pieces provide an aesthetically appealing appearance to the corners of the building.
Abstract:
A method for resetting a key decoder coupled to a plurality of capacitive keys to prevent processing of a key code generated by a ghosting condition. The method includes receiving a key code from a key decoder that corresponds to a first capacitive key of a capacitive keypad, detecting a ghosting condition for a second capacitive key that does not correspond to the detected key code, and resetting a key decoder in response to the ghosting condition being detected.
Abstract:
A method of covering a polyolefin surface with flocculent includes applying a polyolefin-bondable adhesive to at least a portion of a polyolefin surface located on a structure. An epoxy bond material is then applied to the portion of the structure. Then, a flocculent is applied to the portion of the structure. The polyolefin-bondable adhesive and the epoxy bond material can be applied by submerging the portion of polyolefin surface into each. An apparatus includes a structure having a polyolefin surface selected from a group consisting of polyethylene and polypropylene. A layer polyolefin-bondable adhesive overlies and abuttingly contacts a portion of the polyolefin surface of the structure. A layer of epoxy bond material overlies and abuttingly contacts the layer of polyolefin-bondable adhesive. A flocculent overlies and abuttingly contacts the layer of epoxy bond material.
Abstract:
A cosmetic container for holding a cosmetic mass and connecting to an applicator head, including a collapsible reservoir including a generally tubular wall sealed at one end and a tubular neck joined to the reservoir, the neck including a coupler, and the interior of the neck communicating with the interior of the reservoir; a cosmetic applicator for holding and applying a cosmetic mass, including a collapsible reservoir including a generally tubular wall sealed at one end and a tubular applicator head joined to the reservoir, the interior of the applicator head communicating with the interior of the reservoir, the applicator head including a rigid base portion adjacent the reservoir, a tip portion including one or more discharge openings, a plurality of fibers disposed on the outer surface of the tip, and the outer wall of the applicator head including an outer coupler; and methods for making the same, are disclosed.
Abstract:
A flange assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a tubular structure having a passageway and comprising a fiber reinforced plastic material, and a flange structure comprising an aperture coupled to the tubular structure using an attachment element.
Abstract:
A connector module, which permits termination of cross-connect wires on one surface and cable wires on an opposite surface, has an internal switch configuration which is normally open, such that the cross-connect wires are normally not connected to the cable wires. The module exhibits a generally “Z” shaped configuration which permits test access, jumper insertion, and protector mounting on either surface.
Abstract:
A system and method for capturing image data captures images responsive to programmed sequences. The sequences are performed on a periodic basis as well as in response to inputs corresponding to alarm conditions and transactions conducted at automated banking machines or other devices. Image data may also be captured in response to image conditions including the sensing of motion or the loss of usable video from selected cameras. Image data is stored in connection with data corresponding to circumstances associated with each triggering event. Stored image data may be searched by one or more parameters. Parameters include data stored in association with each image, types of events causing image data to be stored, as well as other image conditions in stored images.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a method and system for storing a file in a storage domain is provided. The method includes monitoring access to a file to determine a file access pattern, tagging the file to indicate the identified access pattern and using the tag to identify an appropriate storage medium in a storage domain for the file, when available, based on the access pattern.
