Abstract: A light fixture including a light source and heat pipes that are connected to an array of fins which cool the light source. The light fixture is configured such that the thermal mass is minimised local to the light source. The heat pipes are arranged so that they are aligned with the light emitting areas of the light source. The heat pipes and fins form a structure which supports the light source.
