Abstract: A lighting device includes a light permeable body which has an aperture through which light enters the body. A light source is moveable relative to the body to enable the lighting device to adopt selectively one of a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the light source is positioned over the aperture so that light emitted by the light source passes through the body before illuminating the room. In the second configuration, the light source is spaced laterally from the aperture so that the room is illuminated directly by light emitted from the light source.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a light source, a base and an articulated support. The support has a first arm which is rotatable relative to the base about a first axis, a second arm upon which the light source is mounted, and a joint section which connects the second arm to the first arm for movement relative thereto about a second axis which is parallel to the first axis. The second arm is also moveable relative to the joint section about a third axis which intersects, and is orthogonal to, the second axis to change the orientation of the light source relative to the base.
