Abstract: Disclosed are miscible, polyester blends that contain at least one first polyester comprising terephthalic acid and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and at least one second polyester comprising terephthalic acid, 2,2,4, 4-tetramethyl-l,3-cyclobutanediol, and 1,4- cyclohexanedimethanol. The polyester blends have good clarity, toughness, and moldability and are useful for the preparation of shaped articles. Also disclosed are shaped articles prepared from the polyester blends.
