Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method for cleaning organic beverage and food soils. SOLUTION: The composition is a low-foaming acid cleaner composition comprising a mineral acid, a hydrocarbon ether solvent or hydrocarbon alcohol solvent, a blocking agent, an ether amine agent, and various surfactants. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: prior art methods seek only to minimize use amounts of lubricant compositions and do not teach methods that are effective to provide different values for the coefficient of friction at different locations.SOLUTION: The passage of a container along a conveyor is lubricated by applying to the container or conveyor a lubricant composition comprising a water-miscible silicone material having a silicone emulsion wherein the silicone emulsion contains less than 500 ppm of a triethanolamine salts of alkyl benzene sulfonic acid compounds.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating method of the passage of a container along a conveyor, capable of reducing waste, cleaning, and dust disposal problems.SOLUTION: The lubricating method is capable of supplying a quicker-drying lubrication for a conveyor and a container in the passage of the container along the conveyor by applying a mixture of water-miscible silicon material and water-miscible lubricant agent to the container or conveyor, and capable of cleaning a conveyor line better. The mixture is applicable in a comparatively small amount by reducing the usage of the lubricant, and it is possible to supply a thin lubricant film without substantially causing no dripping.
Abstract:
A method of lubricating plastic conveyor tracks or belts is herein described wherein the lubricant composition contains a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide; also described are methods of manufacture of such lubricant compositions in both concentrate and diluted form. The compositions may also comprise an anionic and a nonionic surfactant as well as a neutralizing agent.
Abstract:
The passage of a container along a conveyor is lubricated by applying to the container or conveyor a mixture of a water-miscible silicone material and a water-miscible lubricant. The mixture can be applied in relatively low amounts, to provide thin, substantially non-dripping lubricating films. In contrast to dilute aqueous lubricants, the lubricants of the invention provide drier lubrication of the conveyors and containers, a cleaner conveyor line and reduced lubricant usage, thereby reducing waste, cleanup and disposal problems.

Abstract:
The invention relates to compositions and methods for cleaning typically organic beverage and food soils. The cleaning composition is formulated to remove carbohydrate and proteinaceous soils from hard surfaces. The formulations of the invention are directed to remove carbohydrate and proteinaceous soils from beverage manufacturing locations such as soils arising in the manufacture of malt beverages, fruit juices, dairy products, etc.
