Abstract: A stable, substantially homogeneous, solid block cleaning composition can be made for general purpose cleaning and for cleaning hard surfaces such as floors of varying surface composition. Unique solid block materials contain substantially useful concentrations of liquid acid materials, but are in the form of a stable solid. The acidic solid detergent can be dispensed using a water spray creating a concentrate which can then be diluted in proper ratio to form the use-solution. Such use-solutions may be applied to remove a variety of soils subject to acid cleaning including soils containing water hardness components, inorganic soils, and the like. The acid cleaners can be used alone or in combination with other cleaners in a cleaning protocol for a variety of hospitality, industrial or institutional cleaning locations having a broad spectrum of contaminated soil residue.

Abstract: Saure Reinigungszusammensetzung in Form eines festen Blockes, umfassend (a) eine wirksame Menge einer sauren Komponente, umfassend 10 bis 80 Gew.-% einer flüssigen Säure ausgewählt aus wässriger Phosphorsäure; Chlorwasserstoffsäure, Bromwasserstoffsäure, Schwefelsäure, Salpetersäure, Ameisensäure, Essigsäure, wässriger Hydroxyessigsäure, Propionsäure, Buttersäure, Valeriansäure, Methylsulfonsäure, Capronsäure und Mischungen davon, und 0,1 bis 80 Gew.-% einerfesten Säure, ausgewählt aus Sulfamidsäure, Zitronensäure, Gluconsäure, Trichloressigsäure, Benzoesäure, Oxalsäure, Malonsäure, Succinsäure, Glutarsäure, Itaconsäure, Maleinsäure, Fumarsäure, Terephthalsäure, Adipinsäure und deren Mischungen, (b) eine wirksame Menge einer Tensidzusammensetzung zum Suspendieren von Schmutz; mit einem nichtionischen Tensid aus der Gruppe Alkoholethoxylat, Nonylphenolethoxylat, ethoxyliertem/propoxyliertem Copolymer und Gemischen davon und einem anionischen Tensid aus der Gruppe Alkylsulfat oder -sulfonat, Arylsulfat oder -sulfonat, Alkylarylsufat oder -sulfonat und Gemischen davon, (c) 15 bis 40 Gew.-% Harnstoff, die Gew.-% jeweils bezogen auf das Gesamtgewicht der Reinigungszusammensetzung, wobei die Reinigungszusammensetzung in Form eines festen Blockes in einem Einwegbehälter aus Kunststoff verfestigt und gehalten ist und bei Verdünnung mit Wasser zu einer 1 Gew.-%-haltigen Lösung einen pH unter 6 aufweist.
