    Abstract: A compressor includes a shell, a compression mechanism, a motor, a base member, and a mounting foot. The compression mechanism is disposed within the shell and the motor is drivingly engaged with the compression mechanism. The base member is coupled to the shell and a mounting foot is fixed to the base member. The mounting foot includes a mounting aperture extending therethrough and a slot intersecting the aperture that attenuates vibrations within an operating frequency range of the compressor.
