Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an equipment which is built in a wire bonding equipment and can watch amount of consumed wire or break of a wire or trouble of supply. CONSTITUTION: This equipment is provided with a mount 2 on which a wire supply spool 1 is rotatably fixed, a guide wheel 7 fixed on a lever 8 swinging between a first position energized with a spring 10 and a second position where a sensor A is operated, a motor 3 driving the wire supply spool which motor 3 is started by the sensor A when the sensor A is operated by a lever 8, and a means stopping the motor 3 by the supply of a specified amount of a wire 6. By consumption of the wire in a connection cycle, the wire 6 passes on the guide wheel 7, in a space between the wire supply spool 1 and a wedge for connection, in such a manner that the lever 8 swings from the first position to the second position.
