Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a device for removably-attaching insulating and sound- damping mats mounted on the floor of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: This device is a device for removably-attaching insulating and sound-damping mats using a nut 1 engaged with a stud 8 mounted on a vehicle body. The nut 1 includes a flange 4 coming into contact with the mat 7 and flexible internal projections 9. The protrusions 9 can be pushed over the stud 8, and when pushed over, engages with a screw of the stud 8, so that the nut 1 can be prevented from being unscrewed from the stud 8.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a simple fastener for a lengthy article having a specified diameter devised easy to manufacture and handle and not to rigidly hold the lengthy article. CONSTITUTION: This is a fastener to hold a lengthy article furnished with a beam type lower part 1 having at least one first elastic concave part 3 to receive a lengthy article 5 to be installed and at least one second elastic concave part 4 to receive the lengthy article 5. At least one of the upper part 2 and the lower part 1 has cavities 17, 18, 19 to give elasticity. Consequently, it is possible to manufacture it by injection molding of a plastic material in a single shot process. A structure connecting the upper part 2 and the lower part 1 to each other by a hinged joint 6 having a play can be also integrally formed in a molding process. It is possible to ensure economical and reliable fixing of the lengthy article to a support body.
