Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce reliable electrical continuity by using a swaged nut/stud structure for electrical connection or grounding without needing the step to arrange an additional cap and the initial assembly step of rotating. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding stud, allowing easy fixing of an electric terminal without using a nut requiring a tool, and a protective cap capable of keeping the terminal contact portion of the stud clean when coating a vehicle panel having the stud fixed thereto. SOLUTION: An electric grounding welding stud 23 includes a cylindrical body elongated in a longitudinal direction, a head and a neck having a reduced diameter, and has spiral threads projecting from the body. The threads are arranged at predetermined intervals in the lateral direction. Each of the threads surround around the body at less than 360 deg. in a spiral manner. In order to prevent the threads of the welding stud 23 from being polluted during coating, a protective cap 121 is provided with a cylindrical portion 123, an integral hinge 125 and a pawl 127, and is fitted detachably to the stud.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double threaded stud fastening device requiring no torque (rotation force) of an engagement nut for a threaded stud of a nut or a stud, and keeping desired attaching condition of the stud to a plastic member to be attached. SOLUTION: This fastening device 21 using a double threaded stud 23 constitutes a first threaded portion 41 is attached to a plastic member 27, a second threaded portion 45 engaged with a nut 25, and a horizontal projecting portion disposed between both thread portions 41, 45, or a flange 43. The fastening device 21 includes a third portion 49 connected to the second threaded portion 45 by a reduced diameter neck 47.
