    Abstract: Einrichtung in einem geschalteten Telekommunikationssystem, enthaltend: eine geschaltete Domäne (5) mit mindestens einer Vermittlungsstelle (SW1), wobei die geschaltete Domäne eine virtuelle Sendedomäne unterstützt; zumindest ein Dienstnetzwerk (1, 2, 3, 4), verbunden mit der geschalteten Domäne (5), derart, dass das Dienstnetzwerk einen Dienst bereitstellen kann, wobei der Dienst durch die virtuelle Sendedomäne geführt wird; einen Anwenderport (Pf) für einen Anwender (A1), in zumindest einer der Vermittlungsstellen (SW1) in der geschalteten Domäne, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einrichtung enthält: zumindest ein lokales Netzwerkendgerät (NT1) bei dem Anwender, das die virtuelle Sendedomäne unterstützt, derart, dass das Netzwerkendgerät einen Aufwärtsstreckenport (Pe) aufweist, der mit dem Anwenderport (Pf) verbunden ist; Dienstports (Pc, Pd) in dem Netzwerkendgerät (NT1) für Anwendereinrichtungen (6, 7, 8); und eine Vorrichtung (8) zum Konfigurieren der Dienstports (Pc, Pd) für jeweilige Anwendereinrichtungen (6, 7, 8) derart, dass diese zu der virtuellen Sendedomäne des Dienstnetzwerkes gehören.

    Abstract: A telecommunication system and method enables an end user to select communication services from a plurality of communication service networks providing different communication services. A telecommunication switch is connected to the service networks, and one or more local network terminals communicate with the switch through connections configured to carry communications for the different communication services provided by the service networks. A plurality of user devices, each configured to support a corresponding communication service, connect to the network terminal through a plurality of service ports. The network terminal configures the service ports for the respective user devices, and provides communications for a corresponding service to an activating user device in response to an activation of a service port by the activating user device. The telecommunication switch and/or the local network terminal may prioritize communications from particular service networks.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a telecommunication system enabling a user to select services. The Figures show a telecommunication system having a switch ed domain (2A) comprising switches (SW1, SW2). Service networks (A11-F11) are connected to the switches and users (G1-L1) are also connected to the switch es using lines (G11, L11). An IP path selector (3) and an operator (OP11) are also connected to the switches. The operator forms service network groups by means of selection among the service networks (A11-F11). The service network groups are allocated a virtual local network (VLAN1) each by means of configuring the ports in the switches (SW1, SW2) and the IP path selector (3 ). The users (G1-L1) can select services by means of selecting one or several o f the virtual local networks. By means of configuring their devices (G21-G23) to their chosen virtual local network (VLAN1) the user (G1) receives the servic es desired. The user can also change his selection of services by means of reconfiguring and thus connect to an alternative virtual local network.

    Abstract: A method and a system in a switched telecommunication network are disclosed.     Abstract: The present invention relates to a telecommunication system enabling a user to select services. A telecommunication system having a switched domain comprising switches is disclosed. Service networks are connected to the switches and users are also connected to the switches using lines. An IP path selector and an operator are also connected to the switches. The operator forms service network groups by selecting among the service networks. The users can select services by means of selecting one or several of the virtual local networks.
