Abstract:
The present invention relates to a communication system and a method for providing distributed caching of reply data objects (17) within a packet data network comprising network elements (14), a client terminal (10) and at least two intermediary Web caches (12). In order to improve performance and flexibility, each cache (12) is provided with information handling means for defining both object operation type and object context, the data in a request is separated into context defining data and pure information data and in the associations between context in requests and replies being used for discriminating between relevant and irrelevant reply data.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an arrangement, a system and a method of providing communication between clients (1A1, 1B1, 1C1) and managed systems (6A1, 6B1, 6C1) via managing systems (21). The clients communicate with the managing system over a first network (10) using an IP-protocol and a managing system(s) (21) communicate with a number of managed systems (6A1, 6B1, 6C1) over a second network (201). Each managing system (21) comprises a service management node with information handling means for separating addressing information from other information of an incoming message and for adapting the information to the communication protocol used for communication with the addressed managed system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system of at least two physical state-blocks (2), wherein each state-block comprises an identification stored in a state-block memory (18), a processing unit (16), one communication port (22) for communicating identification and state-information to and from said state-block. The state-block also comprises a state port (20) for applying and/or for indicating state changes. The identification for all state-blocks in said system belongs to the same identification family and that the identifications of the other state-blocks in the family are stored in the state-block memory of each state-block. A state change applied at the state port of one state-block in the system is communicated via said communication port to all other state-blocks in the family and is indicated at the state port of said other state-blocks.
Abstract:
An arrangement, a system and a method provide communication between clients and managed systems via managing systems. The clients communicate with the managing system over a first network using an IP-protocol, and a managing system(s) communicate with a number of managed systems over a second network. Each managing system includes a service management node with an information handling device for separating addressing information from other information of an incoming message and for adapting the information to the communication protocol used for communication with the addressed managed system.
