Abstract:
Method and apparatus for checking an aggregated web service requested by a terminal user (200). A web service authentication node (208) receives and stores a published description of the aggregated web service, as offered from a primary web service provider (204) and involving one or more sub-services offered from one or more secondary web service providers (206a,b). When the authentication node (208) receives a request made by the user for the aggregated web service, it is checked whether the sub-services and secondary service providers of the aggregated web service are acceptable for the user according to a policy of the user. If all sub-services and secondary service providers are deemed acceptable or safe, the aggregated web service can be authenticated. Otherwise, the request is rejected or the user is warned that the aggregated web service is deemed unsafe. Thereby, access to sensitive user data by secondary service providers can be controlled and made visible.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for monitoring the behaviour of an individual communication client (200) in relation to the behaviour of a group of communication clients. A client database (202a) collects client data based on activities reflecting the individual client's behaviour, where the collected client data forms a resulting client behaviour profile (GP). A comparing unit (202b) compares the collected client data with a behaviour profile (GP) of the client group reflecting the behaviour of the client group. An alert generator (202c) then issues an alerting signal (A) if an unacceptable behavioural deviation between the individual client and the client group is detected.
Abstract:
A method and arrangment for enrolling a joining peer (202) to a P2P (peer-to-peer) to the P2P network receives (2:2) a connect request sent from the joining peer, and obtains (2:4-2:7) an enrollment recommendation for the joining peer at least based on a stored current topology (208) of the P2P network. The enrollment a server then sends (2:9) attach information to the joining peer according to the enrollment recommendation. The attach information indicates where the joining peer shall connect to the P2P network. The enrollment server also updates (2:13) and stored toplogy of the P2P network when the joining peer has connected to the P2P network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for requesting a transport policy for a bearer of a session in a communications system (100) A transport policy requesting node (500) according to the invention comprises an event handling mechanism (505) adapted to detect a triggering event triggering the selection of a transport policy for the bearer of a service; a transport policy selection mechanism (525) adapted to select a transport policy and transmit a policy request indicative of the transport policy to a policy decision function, and a context information handling mechanism (515, 520) adapted to receive information relating to a context relevant to the service. The context information can be used as a trigger for the selection of a transport policy, and/or as a basis for the selection of a transport policy.
Abstract:
A method is provided for determining a correlation between a reference user and another user on the basis of two sets of ratings, where each rating is associated with a respective user. In response to a trigger, user ratings associated with the reference user and user ratings associated with the other user are collected, and all co- rated items of these two sets are correlated in the basis of an adjusted cosine correlation function which is weighted by a first and a second weighting function. The correlation is then stored and may be repeated for a plurality of users. The stored correlations may be used e.g. for ranking purposes.
